Davit Asanidze

Freelance urban planner and lecturer at the University of Georgia who has led and managed large-scale projects in land use master planning, real estate, and universal urban design. Has consultancy experience with international donor organizations and financial institutions. Former design manager in the real estate industry and Head of Urban Policy and Planning Division at Tbilisi City Hall, with experience in urban development and the public and private sectors as well as academia. 

Holds a master's degree in Urbanism and Spatial Planning from University of Lisbon (Instituto Superior Tecnico) and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Georgian Technical University.

At MIT, focused on the inclusive, fair-shared city concept and placemaking tools to promote the public good and balanced real estate development.
